Jetpack Fox has been in the works for over 5 months now, and releasing it now is really relieving but also a little bit anxiety inducing? Not quite sure why but it is great to say that it is finally out there!

Additionally, this is the first time I've made promotional material for a project!

So I've been thinking about it a lot recently, and I'm finally deciding to release a ton of stuff I have been sitting on for 8 years, and that is a huge undertaking.

First of all, I have stuff from like 8 years back, and I am proud of it, but I also have improved my craft a lot since then, so it feels a little weird to release it all now.

Continually, I will have to be sat at my computer just releasing stuff for like hours, which means that I gotta just unload all of this stuff and flood feeds, servers, and just whatever platform will take it, which'll be a lot of platforms.

And finally, I never intended to release half the stuff so, I'm kinda like sitting here thinking "how do I package this?"

But why now?

This goes back to what I was thinking about-

Like, I've been told by my friends a thousand times over "Hey release your stuff! This is awesome!" and back then it is just all personal stuff, but now, looking for a job and needing a portfoloio, like, I have all of the stuff to show that I am a competent artist, but I haven't shown that to anyone but very close friends so, only THEY know I am competent to at least do SOMETHING!

Hopefully, in the future I just keep releasing art as I make it, since I do produce a lot of the stuff, good and bad.

Additionally, I have had my mind tied up in a bunch thinking a lot about like "Maybe it's not good enough" and "It's not my best work, so I won't release it" and that's gotten to me. Like, I will never create my best work in my own eyes since I always want to improve, and that's fantastic! But, it also means that I have to settle for "enough" which is tough for me.

So here is to letting things be just "enough" for me. :o

AND WHY IS IT ALL THIS PURPLE MASK PERSON??????

Uhhhhhh, that's a great question. =)

I've been stockpiling all this art for ages, and was pretty scared to release it all on the internet because of theivery, maybe people wouldn't like it, and probably a ton of other reasons, but, at a point I was sick of just sitting here with all this art, and now I'm just sharing it on Newgrounds because I love this site.

This is the art that I am comfortable with sharing for now, and I am still a little scared because of the aformentioned reasons, but still, I think this is a step in the right direction.

I don't think it makes sense to stockpile all this art and only share it with my friends when other people might enjoy it too.

So, uhh, here you go!

And, for the second question-

Why are these all my persona?

I've been struggling with identity for a bit, and wanted to make a character that really reflects who I am.

So, I've gone through innumerable attempts at drawing this character, and finally landed on a version that I like the most.

The character will probably grow with me as I keep pursuing art, but, as of now, this is where I stand.

Also, there I will probably be releasing more stuff in the coming future, because when I say I have a lot of art I haven't released, I mean: "I HAVE LIKE YEARS WORTH OF ART I HAVE NOT RELEASED"
